FULL SOLUTION

 

Step 1: Since 9 is the smallest adorable number, numbers 1 to 8 are not adorable

Step 2: If c is always fixed to be 4, a+b must be 6 or larger.

Step 3: a+b can be odd or even.

• If odd, make b = 3 and a will be even since b is odd. This means that all odd numbers starting from 9 are adorable.
• If even, make b = 6 which means a will be even. The value of a must the be 2 or more. This means that all even numbers from (2+6+4 = 12) are adorable

Step 4: With step three in mind, 10 would be another non-adorable number

Step 5: The answer would be 1+2+3+…..7+8+10
