Achievements are defined differently by everyone. A person’s achievements might be a daily routine for another. The only person who could feel it is none other that yourself.
I might have done things which I’m proud of, some of which I take for granted and the standards I set for myself leave me no room for achievements. It may seem like I am a very smart guy, but I believe I am born that way and its something I have, not what I sacrificed to become.
We all believe that achieving something by sacrifice is painful but it is the most rewarding experience one could ever live for.
Honestly, whatever I have done in my entire lifetime, be it simple or complex, I do not feel that I sacrificed to achieve those milestones. I have not done anything outside my comfort zone.
Completing my studies in polytechnic might be an achievement to some, but I just feel that it’s not a surprise or something to celebrate about. We only feel very delighted if we put in our hard work and undivided effort into something and getting a desirable outcome would be a huge bonus indeed.
It’s funny how I ace and topped my class in math endlessly and no one bothers but when I failed to do so it becomes the top news. Amidst all this I still uphold my reputation and won the battle.
We could do something so effortlessly yet others see it as a huge achievement and something they wish they could also do. Only at these moments that we realize our potential and begin to appreciate our skills which are unique and enriching.
We should also learn that sharing our knowledge to others can also benefit us, we should not have the thought of being at a loss if we share it to others.
Whenever we provide assistance to another person, being sincere is the top priority, the only reason that we want to help is to give benefit to others, not expecting anything in return. Never keep track on how much you benefited someone else, it only causes misery when our lonely moments sets in. Instead, we should stop and think of all the people who benefited us, those who uplifted our spirit during our dull moments and those who never fail to care for us no matter what circumstances befall.
