The final week of classes, also known as dead week has arrived.
My week was opposite of dead, well just read till the end and you would definitely agree with me.
It was a bittersweet feeling to walk out of class and telling myself that this is it! Its the last time attending lessons in Purdue. 1 more week before I leave this beautiful campus
A beautiful and calm sunset
As compared to the previous semesters in my home university, I felt more relieved now as most of the work is done. The final exam which is going to be held 1 week from now will not make a huge difference to my final grade. The most stressful part of the semester occurred last month and finals is just a bonus. I learned various of skills throughout the semester due to the constant deadlines and the workload given to me.
Enough of academic stuff!
As my time in Purdue draws to a close, I was trying to find out if I missed doing anything “fun” on campus, Don’t worry because my definition of “fun” is not getting drunk or going for parties to get wasted.
I realized that I haven’t been to a basketball game, a sport which Purdue is known to excel at. It was an impromptu decision as I found out that there will be a free t-shirt before the start of the game. I bought the ticket just a few hours before the game. It was a great match and of course we won by a huge margin!

Its amazing to see a huge crowd even though its a week before finals! The fan culture is really strong over here and the people here are really good at having a work-life balance. I am glad to be a part of the crowd.
Just a few hours ago, I went to one of the last group sessions that I was involved in during the semester. I did not expect such a warm welcome with a gift waiting for me. It was a really thoughtful gesture by Phil & Tiffany (I’m glad to meet such wonderful people) They also gave me an experience which I would never forget by showing me the american tradition of thanksgiving. I am really going to miss them when I leave.
Thankful for this!:’)
I am looking forward to next week. I am going to meet up with the lovely people who gave me an unforgettable experience during my stay here in Purdue. This reminds me of the week before I left home to pursue my journey in America. I spend the week meeting up with friends and family. It would be an emotional week meeting them for the last time(I hope not) and saying goodbye. I really really hope to see them in the near future.
Till we meet again!
